born August 21, 2003.
She is the puppy with
the red collar.
Shasta is all snuggled in the
whelping box just waiting for
the puppies to arrive.
Shasta is a very good mother and
wants to make sure everyone
is spotlessly clean.
With a litter of 10 I was concerned that the puppies wouldn't get enough milk so we supplemented. It was so much fun, we always had lots of helpers at feeding time, and the puppies loved it.
In no time at all they were able to do it all by themselves.
When Tia was 7 weeks old she went to live with her new family.
